GROWER NOTES:
The Ukigumo Japanese Maple, also known as Floating Clouds Japanese Maple, is perhaps the most extreme of the variegated Japanese Maples. Randomly twisted leaves are sometimes nearly all-white, with small flecks of green; other times possessing much more green with extravagant white markings with pink tips and highlights. In fall the foliage matures to yellow-orange.
The slow-growing Ukigumo thrives in evenly moist, rich, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. It makes an ideal specimen plant for gardens and containers.
