This Urban Pinnacle® bur oak is narrow and upright with strong central leaders. It is a cross between an English Oak and a Bur Oak and bred to be more suitable for landscape and streetscapes.
It features a straight trunk and attractive glossy, dark green foliage and resistance to both mildew and anthracnose. The acorns on this impressive cultivar are extremely small for a bur oak, making it a more suitable tree for landscape and street use.
