The Girard's Hybrid Paperbark Maple is a beautiful multi-stemmed, deciduous tree that is renowned for its exfoliating reddish bark and showy red-orange fall color. Its green, compound leaves have very fine texture that sets it apart from other cultivars. It has a high canopy and should not be planted under power lines.
The Girard's Hybrid Paperbark Maple thrives in full to part sun in average to moist soils. It is a hybrid of Acer griseum and Acer maximowiczianum and displays the best of both!
