GROWER NOTES: >
The Venus® Kousa Dogwood is a fast-growing hybrid from Rutgers University with large, snow white flower bracts that appear in late spring. This exceptional cultivar branches all the way to the ground, creating a cloud of large, bright blooms from the ground up. It is noteworthy for its vigorous habit, large bracted flowers, and resistance to powdery mildew and anthracnose. Mature trees form strawberry-like fruits that birds love. As fall approaches, its foliage ages in purple and red hues.
