GROWER NOTES:
The Osakuzuki Akame Japanese Maple is the broader form of the standard Osakuzuki. It shares the same growth pattern and foliage color. Large olive orange leaves emerge in spring, then turn green in summer, maturing to crimson red in fall.
Osakuzuki Akame thrives in filtered sun in moist, rich, well-drained soil. It is resistant to leaf scorch and somewhat tolerant to drought and wind. It is ideal for Asian-themed gardens and containers.
