Buxus is a genus of about 70 species in the family Buxaceae. Boxwood are a wonderfully versatile staple for the landscape as they respond well to shearing or pruning and can be used in a variety of landscape situations. Boxwood are slow-growing and stay somewhat compact in most species. Their evergreen foliage provide great winter color when everything else is a drab brown. |
