Achillea Moonshine, Anthea, Red Velvet,
Terracotta and many others!
So many great ones  - definitely worth it to try some of the new  ones - many colors.
Ajuga Chocolate Chip
A great small Ajuga that is remarkable drought tolerant-  also works fantastic in container combinations!
Alliums Ornamental Onions
Tough as nails ... I mean, onions!
Amsonia tabernamontana
A. hubrectii
Blue Star
They have ice blue flowers -  really shine in the fall with great yellow foliage coloration - the fine foliage of the A. hubrectii is especially beautiful.
Aquilegia Columbines
Tougher than you might think - especially in drought!
Artemesia Wormwood
Old timers well worth the trial - very aggressive and benefits from severe pruning -- just use a lawn mower in the middle of the summer.
Baptisia Several varieties
The Baptisias are long-lived and tough in the garden setting.
Brunnera Jack Frost
An impressive new Brunnera with cute flowers and fabulous foliage.
Campanula persicifolia Chettle charm
A great white for the garden - strong stems and holds its form even in dry soils - has done well with essentially no irrigation.
Corydalis lutea Several Varieties
A great old workhorse with dainty foliage and pretty flowers that does well in dry shade.
Dianthus Essex Witch
Bath's Pink
Firewitch
PINKS are tough!  And there are many to choose from.  They are very drought tolerant.
Echinacea Magnus, Art's pride
The standard - plus Art's pride - an orange selection that will be hard to find for a couple more years - pretty interesting color.
Euphorbia Spurge
A nice Euphorbia  - can take full sun or a bit of shade -- has done well in our trials - relatively unknown.
Euphorbia epithymoides Cushion spurge
An old timer always worth keeping -- will seed around but usually not a problem
Gaillardia Fanfare
Tough  - some like the interesting flowers - adds a new dimension for Gaillardias.
Gaura Whirling butterflies, Siskiyou pink Ballerina
The Gauras are now indispensable in my garden -- tough and drought tolerant - they do like plenty of sunshine for best performance.
Geranium 'Roxanne'
A very nice new everblooming geranium - this is definitely a keeper  - pretty darn tough!
Helenium Sneezeweed
A real trooper! Drought tolerant and showy in the mid summer - many cultivars.
Helianthus Low down and
First Light
Two late bloomers - related to the tall willow-leaved sunflower - but these are much shorter - bloom into October!
Hosta Golden scepter
A colorful and dependable hosta -grows and thrives on very dry soils - holds foliage well into the summer.
Iris reticulata Early Iris
The earliest of irises.  Can bloom in early March!
Lavandula angustifolia Munstead, Hidcote
Great landscape plants for dry soils.
Leucanthemum Snowcap, Becky
Really - Becky is a nice improvement - large repeat bloomer - Snowcap is a dwarf that fills a niche early in the season - probably does better with a bit of moisture.
Lychnis Jenny and others
Really quite a show stopper - related to carnations, this new introduction really pumps the pink!  Extremely drought tolerant as well as others.
Nepeta Catmint
So many great varieties to choose from - especially Walker's Low and Six Hills Giant - carefree and totally drought tolerant!
Oenothera Many cultivars
These are grown, but not enough!  Incredible flower display in late June that lasts for about three weeks!
Pulmonaria Lungwort - Many cultivars
Too many to choose from  -  they can tolerate dry soils and shade.
Tulipa tarda  
A bright and cherry start to the spring!
Tulipa greigii Little Red Riding Hood
A cute little early buddy - comes early to brighten up Spring!
