As the season progresses, the leaves gradually turn yellow green to medium green. In partial shade, the foliage retains the yellow tones a little longer than in bright sun. Direct sun will cause some leaf scorch in hot climates, but this cultivar can tolerate full sun better than most yellow forms. The fall colors vary from orange to red and all shades in between, and occasionally blending with purple! Acer Shirasawanum Availability |
